You need:
- Any type of Tee but it has to be made of 100% cotton.
- Very steady hands. :P
Further Tips:
Please hand wash it. Washing machine will only stretch it.
If you want a fitted outcome then I would recommend you to do it in a size smaller.
We are using a white tee here. You can use any other T-shirt you can get hold of. For example, you can try a striped one. If you got a black and white striped tee, then you can try shredding the black part only or vice versa or do both. Remember, it has to be made of 100% cotton though. The less percentage it is, the harder it is to shred.
1. Get a plain tshirt. You can choose to do both sides or just one side only.
2. I am doing mine at the back.
3. Remember 100% cotton. Trust me, It will make your life easier.
4. Stretch your tee sideways by both hands using your two thumbs precisely. Try to get hold of that tiny tiny thread. ~~~~.
5.It will take several tries before it comes out. Once you pull it, follow the same pattern. Do it gently.
6. This is how it should turn up after several pulls. If you can't, hang in there and try again.
7. If you manage to pull in the first thread and end up actually getting somewhere then try other places. The more the better.
8. You might stretch or break your thread while shredding. Be careful with these as you might end up with a hole. Like mine that is.
